Bottom line
THE FRAYERRIDE
VERDICT.
The Tuttio Soleil01 SE works well as an adult-friendly compact electric dirt bike. Its handlebars feel wide enough for a 186 cm rider, the steering angle is excellent and the suspension behaves the way the manufacturer describes. Together, those traits make it easy to control and comfortable when the trail becomes uneven.
The tradeoff is character. Low-end torque feels slightly softer than expected and the styling is more functional than exciting. On the other hand, the chain drive is impressively quiet and the brakes are very good. The bike also reached its claimed top speed in the test.
What works
- Wide adult-friendly bars
- Quiet chain drive
- Excellent steering angle
What to know
- Softer low-end pull
- Off-road tires wear faster on asphalt
